Coldest beer in the state. Beautiful Cedar River 1800's bridge to walk and have a picnic on. This is a unique place that is a must see!

Wonderful little place to spend a sunny afternoon next to the river! Get a bite to eat from the restaurant and sit on the walk bridge over the river!

Where else can you get a fried baloney sandwich? Dressed up with tomato onion pickle and mayo, it was better than my childhood memories. Baxa's location was sweet, the company was sweeter. It made for a fun night. I was there with a large group and my only complaint was that the food took a little longer than I thought it should. The mexican "specials" offered that night looked fabulous! That's what I would order on a return visit if available.

Loved the history and the view. Great place to visit. Ask them about the ceiling.

If you've never been to the Sutliff bridge and the bar (and grill) across the street, it's a place to see. The bar dates back years; has dollar bills stapled all over the ceiling and a local flavor that's really quite interesting. The bridge is closed to auto traffic and is now a very nice place to walk out onto for your lunch or a view, including some picnic benches on the bridge to sit and relax on. There is also a placard that tells about the history of the bridge and how it was saved. The food is only average bar food, but it's still a fun trip. By the way, leave your plastic money at home, they only take checks or cash!
